Omron Automation A2W Wireless Pushbutton Switches employ sub-GHz band to combine wireless reliability and ease-of-use in consideration of work environments. Manufacturing sites require more versatile and flexible production systems due to the frequent changeover of low volume production. The A2W switches offer the freedom of production line layouts, simple addition to existing facilities, and installation on moving parts. The 922.5MHz frequency band of these pushbutton switches reduces interference by providing a better signal in locations with obstacles. These pushbutton switches are capable of self-power generation by the button tactile operation to eliminate the need for a power supply, batteries, or maintenance. This enhances safety and energy saving in the pushbuttons.
